What changed for game devs
If you prototype voiced NPCs or phone-style voice agents on Cartesia, call time now costs half what it did. The Oct 20 archive copy lists call duration at $0.06 per minute on every plan. On Oct 29 our checker saw a promo: $0.03 per minute (regular price $0.06) through Dec 31, 2026. A day later the promo note and the $0.06 figure were gone, and the FAQ now calls $0.03 a minute the standard rate.
Unchanged: TTS plan prices (Free $0, Pro $5 a month, Startup $49, Scale $299) and the $0.014 per minute telephony charge when you use a Cartesia-provided phone number.
One more difference between the Oct 20 archive copy and today's page that our checker did not log: the "LLM usage during calls" row changed from "Free for UI-created agents for a limited time" to "Billed separately". We don't know exactly when that line changed.
