What changed for game devs
This is a new option, not a price change. Eligible enterprises can get Copilot access with the same feature and model eligibility as Copilot Enterprise. The seat is $0 for users who already have a GitHub Enterprise Cloud license, or $10 USD per user per month as Copilot Standalone. Metered usage is billed separately, with no included allowance, so the real cost depends on how much your team uses it.
For studios already on GitHub Enterprise Cloud, the seat itself costs nothing and you pay for metered usage. Unchanged: Copilot Pro, Pro+, Max and Business prices.
Ownership is the same on every option: GitHub's terms, quoted on our Copilot page, say GitHub does not claim ownership of your Input or Output, and it does not use Copilot Business or Copilot Enterprise customer data to train AI models.
